About Christina
Christina is a Toronto-based registered dietitian, mental health advocate, and lover of all food.

Christina loves cooking and creating new recipes but is also a mom of two young children, so she doesn’t have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen. Her philosophy around cooking is that healthy and delicious meals don’t have to be fancy or take a lot of time. If you start with fresh, good quality ingredients, the flavours will speak for themselves.

In her professional life, she has worked at a mental health and addiction facility since 2012. She has the opportunity to see the powerful impact that nutrition has on mental health and recovery from mental illness. She hopes to use this website and blog to share easy recipes and nutrition and lifestyle information to help you improve your overall mental health and well-being.

Christina also believes that all foods fit! Food shouldn’t be associated with feelings of guilt. Feeling bad about something we eat is not going to help anyone’s mental health and well-being. Food is a way of connecting with others and is used to celebrate some of life’s greatest occasions. We should never deprive ourselves of food we enjoy.
